Our work supports regional growth, urban city revitalisation and strategic tourism and infrastructure initiatives.

We operate state-wide across residential, commercial and industrial sectors

What We Do

We work to realise the potential of land and infrastructure developments for all Western Australians.

Across Western Australia we develop land for living and land for working to create places to build our social and economic prosperity. Our work supports regional growth, urban revitalisation and strategic tourism as well as industrial and infrastructure initiatives. We look to achieve the best result for our State both regionally and in our cities.

We are planning for the future of our suburbs, our city, our regions and our State – employing a new way of thinking about how we live and how we work. By championing sustainable land and infrastructure development practices and cutting-edge technologies we are improving the quality of life for all Western Australians into the future.

Our leading by doing approach to development takes on the potential risks of new innovative technologies so industry can confidently implement new sustainability practices while residents benefit from more sustainable and affordable places to live.

Our Innovation through Demonstration projects such as the Gen Y Demonstration Housing Project, the Cool Earth Demonstration Project and the Pilbara Vernacular Project, are championing sustainable land and infrastructure development practices and cutting-edge technologies.

Our commitment to delivering genuine sustainability outcomes is reflected in our adoption of the Global Reporting Initiative Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. These guidelines give us a framework that provides enhanced accountability on our impacts and performance. It also provides increased transparency in our organisation for government, industry, community, stakeholders and staff.

Importantly, it will enable continuous improvement throughout our organisation as we continue to support land and infrastructure growth across WA. Through monitoring and measurement we will enhance the understanding of our performance and our ability to manage, change and improve.

We are also committed to optimising returns to government by providing assistance and support to the Department of Lands in the sale of surplus government assets. We do this to realise the potential in our State for the benefit of Western Australia.

Working with us

Collaboration is key to our success. We partner with local government, State government agencies, key stakeholders and the private sector to create vibrant and sustainable residential communities and industrial and commercial spaces in key locations across Western Australia.

With our project partners we supplement the supply of land and accommodate the diverse housing needs required by our State's growing and changing population. We work closely with other agencies, planning authorities and local governments to ensure our developments meet the needs of local communities and deliver residential and industrial projects from Kununurra in the North to Esperance in the South, inland to Kalgoorlie and across Perth's metropolitan area.

We actively engage with local residents, businesses and land owners to better understand and respond to community expectations and aspirations. We are committed to extensive community consultation to ensure our projects meet the needs of future residents and the communities in which we work.

Some of our active partnership include:

  • At Alkimos, where we have partnered with Lend Lease to create a master-planned, coastal community with a major regional centre and coastal village;
  • Working with the City of Fremantle and private development partners we are revitalising the Knutsford Precinct, a former industrial area, to create a cutting-edge residential community;
  • Together with Satterley we are creating a community for the future – Allara, in Perth's growing northern coastal corridor; and

With more than 150 projects on the go, we are busy building for a bigger and better tomorrow.
