  • Lots zoned for light industry use,

Developers and owner-occupiers are being offered the opportunity to secure fully-serviced light industry lots in Perth’s fast-growing south east corridor, with the release today by LandCorp of the next stage at its Crossroads Industrial estate.

The new land release, located within the Forrestdale Business Park West, includes 15 light industry lots sized from 1,800sqm up to 6,544sqm and positioned near the entrance to the estate, just off Ranford Road.

The lots are priced from $522,000 to $1.6 million, excluding GST, and can be amalgamated to suit individual requirements.

LandCorp Chief Executive Frank Marra said the positioning and flexibility offered by the new lots meant they would hold appeal for a wide range of buyers.

“The location of these new lots, very close to the entrance of the estate, means businesses will benefit from easy access to major transport routes and significant exposure from traffic visiting the estate,” Mr Marra said.

“With a mixture of lot sizes, and the potential to amalgamate with neighbouring lots, this new stage offers a variety of buying opportunities.”

With a prime location next to Tonkin Highway, just nine kilometres from Canning Vale and 27 kilometres from the Perth CBD, Crossroads Industrial has proved popular with buyers since its launch in July 2014.

Lots at the estate are fully serviced with power, water, sewer and gas connections available, together with broadband network access, and are suitable for a wide range of uses.

Only one Service Commercial lot sized 2,456sqm remains in the estate, and the first business is now operating following the recent opening of Wash Works car wash.

Mr Marra said the first stages of landscaping at the estate are now complete, together with the public open space area providing amenity for employees.

“Crossroads Industrial has been carefully designed to deliver a strategically located economic and employment development for commercial, light and heavy industries, ensuring it is a great place to work,” he said.

“With the first business open to customers, and a number of buildings now complete, the estate is really beginning to take shape and will be important in supporting continued employment in the area.”
